5 WWE Superstars who could be moved after 5 years

5 WWE Superstars who could be moved after 5 years
Every superstar in WWE has a specific role to play. It doesn't matter whether you're a main eventer, a midcarder, or a supplement. It doesn't take long for a select few WWE Superstars to rise to the top of each generation.

Ric Flair, Finn Balor, and Brock Lesnar are among the WWE superstars who became World Champions in a matter of months (or one in Balor's case). Each event, however, was unique, and generational superstars like Kurt Angle are uncommon.

Having a strong and steady drive takes years for many other superstars. Cesaro and Apollo's Crews are two recent examples of stars who took 4 to 5 years to get their big break.

Cesaro was still a featured artist, but he never quite achieved the heights that his fans had hoped for. It wasn't until 2021 that he started to receive serious main event attention.

The case of Apollo Crews was a little different. In 2016 he was quickly tracked to the principal roster of WWE, which he labeled "all tools" for four years before eventually receiving a big boost. He was an NXT superstar.

Here are five current superstars who should wait at least five years for a big break.

Long way to WWE's top for Ricochet

Ricochet hasn't had much success in WWE recently. Though his main roster career started off strong in 2019, it quickly cooled after he was defeated by Brock Lesnar on the road to WrestleMania 36.

He's just 32 years old and considering that he hasn't had to go through the arduous WWE Live Event touring schedule in over a year, he's undoubtedly logged even more miles.

In WWE, 32 is considered young for a man, and the company has no plans to pressure him. It will take a long time to create the characters, but it can be done over the next five years.

For a superstar like Ricochet, having an organic build over a forced one is crucial. He has the potential to compete in the ring, but he needs to polish his skills. Ricochet has a chance to become World Champion in five years.

Dana Brooke One of WWE's women underutilized

Dana Brooke has traveled a long way. She's been on the main roster of WWE for five years, and it's been a roller coaster ride. She teamed up with Charlotte Flair in the first year and was rumored to be on the verge of a big push.

She was, however, much too inexperienced at the time, and WWE agreed to call off the push. She has been largely underutilized since her divorce from Flair, a pattern that has continued to this day.

Even so, she has progressed in leaps and bounds, and there have been times when the WWE Universe has recognized this. It would be beneficial for her to have a larger spotlight until they return.

Dana Brooke is the same age as Ricochet, 32 years old. However, as former WWE star Mickie James pointed out, there seems to be a stigma associated with women wrestling well into their 30s. Brooke is in excellent physical condition, and has been for many years. She has a good chance of having a long WWE career and being the Women's Champion.

Chad Gable did An uphill battle in WWE

Chad Gable is one of the most talented homegrown superstars on the WWE roster. Despite this, he hasn't had a particularly good run at the business after the first few months.

He was matched with Jason Jordan in what was considered the best picks of the WWE Draft when he first arrived on SmackDown Live. They had a brief reign as SmackDown Tag Team Champions, and Jordan was sent to RAW in 2017 in what seemed to be the beginning of his singles push.

For the last four years, Gable has been in a variety of tag teams, with WWE unsure what to do with him. He's 35 years old and appears to have a promising future in the business.

He has the "underdog look" and is a skilled technical wrestler, traits that have been attributed to superstars such as Daniel Bryan, Bret Hart, and Chris Benoit. It may be a long path ahead of him, and it may be an uphill struggle, but it is not insurmountable.

The future WWE Women's Champion Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan is a powerhouse that many believe should have already been a WWE Women's Champion. Even though she has been on the main roster for a few years, she has yet to win a championship, despite her time on NXT.

Morgan's best years are already ahead of him at nearly 27 years old. She's currently in a tag team with Ruby Riott, and they're both babyfaces with nothing going on.

It's unusual to see any sort of long-term tag team in WWE these days, which means a breakup and singles stardom are almost certain. However, considering how packed the top of the women's roster is, she might have to wait a while to achieve her WWE target.

With a roster that includes Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley, among others, the women's main event scene on both RAW and SmackDown will be dominated for a few more years.

However, due to the nature of things, Liv Morgan will need a few more years to reach her full potential.

Dominik Mysterio is young enough to get a WWE guaranteed push

Dominik Mysterio is now WWE's hottest young talent. Although he hasn't been seen as much as he was in the summer of 2020, this may be to his advantage. Dominik is just 24 years old, and there's no need to hurry him to the top because he won't crack Randy Orton or Brock Lesnar's World Championship age records.

Many WWE fans compare Dominik Mysterio to his father, Rey Mysterio, but his future and path will be distinct from his father's. He's one of the roster's youngest superstars, and he's younger than the majority of the WWE Performance Center trainees.

As of this writing, he has yet to win a Championship, but with the way things are going, a Tag Team Title win with his father seems to be a foregone conclusion. Before reaching the brink, Dominik Mysterio must pass through several stepping stones. What we do know is that he possesses the necessary skills.
