5 Biggest news stories on WWE RAW

5 Biggest news stories on WWE RAW
It's no secret that WWE RAW isn't the most famous professional wrestling show in the world right now. On a few occasions last year, there were a couple of episodes that delivered in terms of content.

Despite a few notable moments, Monday Night RAW seems to have entered a persistent period where the three-hour timeslot is simply too much for most viewers.

Even if the whole show was not worth everyone's time, this week's WWE RAW followed the same trend, leaving us with moments to ponder.

In the comments section below, let us know what you think about this show. Here are the top five news reports from WWE RAW this week.

Randy Orton finally accepted a partnership with Riddle

Randy Orton's time on WWE RAW not long ago included attacks on women and the burning of a supernatural beast. Bray Wyatt, Orton's former foe, seems to have vanished from television once more.

Randy Orton has been able to follow other goals on the Red brand as a result of this. Orton recently joined a storyline with Riddle, despite not being able to win a spot in the WWE Championship scenario on the Road to WrestleMania Backlash.

During last week's episode, Riddle surprised everyone by defeating him. Instead of retaliating against The Original Bro this week, Randy Orton admitted to his own flaws.

He then reluctantly decided that "R-K-Bro" — a possible tag team with Orton and Riddle on WWE RAW — could have some potential. As a result, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander teamed up against the two stars.

Orton was widely expected to betray Riddle at some stage during the game. The big turn, however, never came, and they all triumphed over Benjamin and Alexander.

R-K-Bro might be a fun idea going forward, based on the general reaction to this turn of events. But, on the other hand, Orton could gain Riddle's confidence now, only to betray him a few weeks or months later.

It's uncertain what Bray Wyatt's future holds, but there's a possibility his bitter rivalry with Randy Orton will resurface at some point. R-K-Bro, how long do you think he'll be in WWE?

WWE RAW continued the story of the WrestleMania slip

5 Biggest news stories on WWE RAW
In recent memory, the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship situation has been fraught with melodrama. Since Mandy Rose stumbled at WrestleMania 37, the majority of it has been exacerbated.

Shayna Baszler told Nia Jax this week to concentrate on wrestling and ignore the distractions. In the same chapter, Jax soon received some flowers.

Angel Garza turned out to be the man who sent those roses, much to Reginald's chagrin. To end the segment, Nia Jax threw flowers at Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose.

Later, during a six-woman tag team match, Jax's behavior would result in a humiliating series. This week, Jax, Rhea Ripley, and Baszler teamed up to take on Lana, Asuka, and Naomi.

Rose and Brooke came out during the game and sprayed Baszler with a bucket of water. Jax attempted to follow the pair, but she became entangled in the puddle.

Despite the loss, Jax was able to pin Lana and lead her team to victory. The question now is, who will be the next WWE RAW superstar to slip and slide?

A bucket of water wasn't the only silly prop used this week, as The Miz's musical performance was marred by a swarm of flying tomatoes.

Charlotte Flair's suspension was controversially lifted by Sonya Deville

The power struggle between Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce in WWE was teased just before WrestleMania 37. WWE has considerably expedited the story as Deville took some divisive actions this week behind Pearce's back.

For starters, Charlotte Flair was suspended indefinitely after attacking a referee in the previous episode. Deville, on the other hand, escorted Flair to the ring this week, where she "made amends" for her behavior. Her apology was confirmed by the referee, and she had even paid the fine in accordance with the storyline.

Charlotte Flair was reinstated on WWE RAW as a result. Adam Pearce was enraged by Deville's decision, but it wasn't the only one he made on the spot.

This week, Flair had to compete in a one-on-one match against someone from the RAW locker room. Mandy Rose, Deville's former best friend, and greatest foe was approached by Deville and booked to face a top star like Charlotte Flair.

Though Rose's character was said to have treated Nia Jax unfairly, it's more likely that Deville's character did it out of spite.

As predicted, Charlotte Flair defeated Mandy Rose. The bigger story is how Sonya Deville's power struggle with Adam Pearce will affect other stars in the future.

Humberto Carrillo took a big step forward On WWE RAW

5 Biggest news stories on WWE RAW
Sheamus' reign as WWE United States Champion is off to an exciting start. During last week's WWE RAW, Humberto Carrillo took on the role of The Celtic Warrior. Carrillo, on the other hand, was beaten down by Sheamus.

Many people believed Carrillo was just a stepping stone to show off Sheamus' cruelty at the time.

On the most recent episode of WWE RAW, he responded to The Celtic Warrior's open challenge once more. Carrillo was ready to make a point this time around. In a short brawl, he won the upper hand over the United States Champion, securing his place in the mid-card title frame.

At WWE WrestleMania Backlash, Sheamus and Humberto Carrillo are expected to face off. Carrillo's odds of becoming the next United States Champion, on the other hand, are pretty low.

Sheamus has had a comeback in 2021, and a feud with Carrillo appears to be a way for him to gain more traction and wrestle against more powerful opponents in the future.

But even having some television time, particularly with a current champion, is a positive development for Humberto Carrillo.

Braun Strowman will take part in the WWE Championship

The show's repetitive nature is one of the key reasons so many viewers switch channels when watching WWE RAW. Braun Strowman was pitted against T-Bar and Mace in a handicap match on this week's show.

The match ended with Strowman being disqualified. Drew McIntyre's handicap match against Mace and T-Bar from last week's show was exactly like this.

This time, the roles were reversed, with McIntyre arriving after the match to save Strowman. As a consequence, Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre competed in a tag team match against RETRIBUTION's former members. Mace and T-Bar were triumphant once again, just like last week.

A misunderstanding between McIntyre and Strowman resulted in a main event showdown between the two heavyweights. This is when things really started to pick up.

After defeating McIntyre, Strowman negotiated a position in which he would be put into the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania Backlash.

MVP and Bobby Lashley sat ringside during the main event and try to sway the outcome in McIntyre's favor. This was an intriguing case, as Lashley was rooting for his new biggest opponent, McIntyre, to win. After all, no champion wants to be in a position where they are facing a triple threat.

The outcome changed in Strowman's favor at the end of the match thanks to T-intervention and Mace. Bar's Lashley will have to defend his title against both Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman at WWE WrestleMania Backlash.

The use of a T-Bar and Mace in the main event was a brilliant move. Despite MVP's outright denial, several people believed the two former RETRIBUTION members were collaborating with The Hurt Company. T-Bar and Mace, it turns out, went against The Hurt Business' interests this week, proving MVP's claims.
