Michael Cole in Raw

In 2008, Michael Cole came to Raw, where he would soon turn heel. He would take the side of the Miz who became WWE Champion. He would also be the voice of the anonymous general manager for a while where he was hated by the WWE Universe at large.

Michael Cole also had a feud with his broadcast partner at this time, Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler. The two would even wrestle against each other where Lawler defeated Michael Cole via the Ankle Lock, although the decision was reversed and Cole was awarded the match as Stone Cold had gotten involved in their match.

Michael Cole would continue this heel persona till 2012, where he turned face again and returned to a more professional role as a play-by-play announcer.

Michael Cole is currently the most senior commentator in the current team.
