Leah Van Dale a.k.a Carmella is an American professional wrestler, dancer, and model, currently signed to WWE and performs on the SmackDown brand. She was born on October 23, 1987, at Spencer, Massachusetts, United States. She graduated from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Her father, Paul Van Dale is former WWF and WWF Superstar. Carmella currently resides in Tampa, Florida.

Van Dale joined WWE in 2013 when she signed a contract with WWE with their developmental brand NXT in Orlando, Florida. She was initially a manager for Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady in 2014. Carmella made her wrestling debut In July 2016 on SmackDown. In June 2017, Carmella won the inaugural women's Money in the Bank ladder match, and then in 2018, she became the first woman in WWE to successfully cash-in her Money in the Bank opportunity. At the championship title match, Carmella defeated Charlotte Flair and became SmackDown Women's Champion.
