Bayley began training for her professional wrestling career at the age of 18, in 2008 when she started learning at Big Time Wrestling. She spent quite some time in the independent circuit while she wrestled under the ring name Davina Rose.

She continued to wrestle for several promotions and teamed up with several wrestling Superstars but could not get hands onto any championship. However, people had started to notice her and in 2012, she was signed by the WWE.

She debuted for NXT in 2013 and started wrestling under the ring name “Bayley”. During her initial days, Bayley had brief feuds with Alicia Fox and Charlotte Flair. In fact, she Charlotte compromised the bond that Bayley shared with her allies, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch.

After her rivalry with Charlotte was put to an end, Bayley went on to start a feud with Sasha Banks. Banks was in her pursuit for the NXT Women’s Championship but Bayley defeated her to become the number one contender for the title match against Charlotte.

She was attacked by both Banks and Becky Lynch on separate occasions which led to her alliance with Charlotte Flair to take on Banks and Lynch.

Bayley also had a brief feud with Emma after the later taunted her on her inability to win the NXT Women’s Championship despite receiving several chances. Bayley convincingly defeated Emma that ended this chapter once and for all.

She again resumed her fight against Flair and defeated her followed by Lynch to meet Banks in the title match for the NXT Women’s Championship. After repeated attempts, Bayley was finally successful in defeating Banks to get her hands on the title.

Bayley dropped her title top Asuka and demanded a rematch. Both the contenders signed a contract. However, Bayley fought her last match at NXT and failed to regain her title.

In 2016, Bayley made her PPV debut at Battleground. She returned as Banks’ secret tag team partner and the two allied to take on Charlotte Flair and Dana Brooke. Next month, she made her official main roster debut on WWE’s flagship show, RAW.

WWE Main Roster

Bayley went on to challenge Charlotte Flair for RAW Women’s Championship title. With Banks’ assistance, Bayley managed to pin Charlotte Flair and lift the RAW Women’s Championship. She went on to defend her title against Charlotte twice before successfully defending it for the third time against Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks in a fatal four way match at WrestleMania (which was also her WrestleMania debut).

Bayley dropped her title to Alexa Bliss and has not been able to get her hands on the Championship ever since. She was also the fifth member of RAW Women’s team at Survivor Series. Unfortunately for her, she was the first one to be eliminated from the match.

At Royal Rumble 2018, Bayley was eliminated by her best friend Sasha Banks. In the following weeks, she too turned her back on Banks. This continued for few weeks where both BFFs came to each other’ aid as well as teased heel turns simultaneously.

However, Banks decided to attack "the Huggable One" in backstage segment and that led to the rebirth of the incredible rivalry that they shared back in their NXT days. The two have the potential to put up one of the greatest women feuds in WWE’s history if they are booked right. Bayley and Banks will be facing each other at WrestleMania 34 and it will determine the fate of the biggest rivalry in both their careers.
