5 SmackDown Superstars Paul Heyman could take to RAW

WWE are gearing up for WrestleMania 36, which is going to be a little different this year, following the numerous changes that have taken place recently. RAW and SmackDown following WrestleMania are usually interesting shows as WWE begins new feuds after The Show of Shows, while some Superstars will get a new lease of life and those that have been out due to injury will return.

We could also see WWE move underused Superstars from RAW to SmackDown and vice versa. The Red brand, which has Paul Heyman as the Executive Director, could use a few new Superstars to freshen things up, especially in the mid-card, the women's division, and the men's tag team division.

Let's take a look at 5 SmackDown Superstars Paul Heyman could take to RAW after WrestleMania 36:

The New Day, the seven-time tag team champions, have been on the blue brand since 2017, having moved from RAW. The trio have made the SmackDown tag team division exciting, and have had incredible rivalries with the likes of The Usos on the blue brand.

The five-time SmackDown Tag Team champions have achieved a lot in WWE since moving to SmackDown in 2017, but it's maybe time for them to move to the red brand. The New Day have one member out of action as Xavier Woods has been ruled out for a few months due to injury.

Big E and Kofi Kingston have been in a feud with The Miz and John Morrison on SmackDown, and the latter, who are the current SmackDown Tag Team champions could face The New Day, The Usos, and Heavy Machinery in a multi-man tag team match at WrestleMania 36.

The New Day will not have a lot of interesting new feuds to be involved in on SmackDown after WrestleMania 36, so Paul Heyman could take them to RAW to reignite the tag team division, and feud with the likes of Rollins and Murphy and AOP.

N4 Sonya Deville

Sonya Deville

One of the most underused women on the SmackDown roster is Sonya Deville, as she is someone that has a genuine MMA background and can bring a lot of legitimacy to fights. With her tag team partner Mandy Rose now in a love triangle with Dolph Ziggler and Otis, Deville has been sidelined even further.

The former NXT Superstar made her debut on the main roster on RAW in 2017 but was drafted to SmackDown just a year later. Now is perhaps the best time to bring her back to the red brand and build her up to eventually challenge for the RAW Women's Championship.

Deville has the look and personality to pull off a Becky Lynch-like gimmick and a person like Paul Heyman could enhance her character. While breaking up the Fire & Desire may cause SmackDown to lose yet another women's tag team, it will be wise to push Deville on WWE television. Deville is a young Superstar that needs to be given the opportunity and soon.

N3 Mustafa Ali

Mustafa Ali

Mustafa Ali has been one of the breakout stars in the WWE over the last few years, having made his main roster debut in 2018. Ali made his debut in SmackDown after impressing on 205 Live and had a feud with Daniel Bryan, the then WWE Champion.

Ali was supposed to get the Kofi Kingston slot which ended up with Kingston winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania last year. Many thought that Ali would get a big push, but after a few promising matches, his push was derailed and he last wrestled with the likes of Drew Gulak and Apollo Crews on the blue brand.

It's a big fall for Ali, who has moved from a potential WWE Championship match to the lower mid-card. A move to RAW could help Ali reinvent his career under Paul Heyman, who has pushed the likes of Cedric Alexander and Ricochet.

Ali could feud for the United States Championship against the likes of Andrade or even Angel Garza, who could both put on exciting matches.

N2 Daniel Bryan

Gulak, who's getting a push on the blue brand. Bryan recently revealed that he is in the latter part of his career and that he is going to be a part-timer soon, once his contract expires.

Bryan could move to RAW after WrestleMania 36 and have a few select feuds, perhaps with someone like Edge or even Seth Rollins. A high-profile feud like that could headline some big PPVs, and with the genius of Paul Heyman, as well as Bryan's in-ring ability, fans would be very pleased.

N1 Bayley or Sasha Banks

Bayley or Sasha Banks

It was announced on this week's SmackDown that Sasha Banks will be one of the five women who will challenge Bayley for the SmackDown Women's title at WrestleMania 36. It's quite obvious that one of the two will walk away from WrestleMania 36 as the SmackDown Women's Champion.

Fans have been clamouring for a singles match between Bayley and Sasha Banks, but that would mean that one of them will have to turn babyface. With Bayley turning heel only a few months ago and getting into her stride, and Sasha Banks thriving as a heel, this is not the right time for either of them to turn babyface.

Instead, WWE should keep the winner of the SmackDown Women's title match on the Blue brand and move the other one to RAW. That could be the best way for Bayley or Banks to challenge Becky Lynch or Shayna Baszler following WrestleMania 36.

Banks and Bayley could meet each other at Survivor Series later this year, when each of them are women's champions of their respective brands.
